現代語訳
（主上は笠置）山を出て逃げられたが、途中で捕らえられ、六波羅へ連れ入れられた。また、軍兵を起こして赤坂の城を攻めた。正成はしばらく防いだ後、ひそかに城を出て金剛山に隠れた。尊雲は十津川の辺りに隠れた。藤房・季房らの近臣はみな捕らえられた。一の宮・尊良以下の皇子もみな生け捕りとなった。
この御代の年号は、元応二年・元享三年・正中二年・嘉暦三年・元徳二年・元弘一年であり、合わせて在位十三年であった。
第九十六代
光厳院 諱は量仁。後伏見院の第一子である。母は広義門院。西園寺左大臣公衡の娘である。後醍醐（天皇）が即位した時、高時の計らいによって東宮（皇太子）に立てられた。

[The Emperor] came out from the mountain and fled, but was captured along the way and taken into Rokuhara. Furthermore, troops were raised to attack the fortress at Akasaka. Masashige held out for a time, then secretly left the castle and hid on Mount Kongō. Sonun hid near the Totsukawa River. Close retainers such as Fujifusa and Suefusa were all taken prisoner. The First Prince, Takayoshi, and all other imperial princes below him were likewise captured alive.
The era names of this reign were: Ōan 2, Genkō 3, Shōchū 2, Karyaku 3, Gentoku 2, and Genkō 1 — totaling thirteen years on the throne.

Kōgon-in: Personal name (imina), Kazuhito. He was the first son of the Gofushimi-in. His mother was the Kōgimōn-in, daughter of Saionji Kinhira, Minister of the Left. When Emperor Godaigo ascended the throne, it was arranged by Takatoki that Kazuhito be installed as Crown Prince.
