十月、御禊（みそぎ・はらい）が行われた。
十一月、大嘗会が長く延引されていたため、武家より申し沙汰があった。同月、義満は従三位に叙せられた。
十二月、二条師長が関白・左大臣を辞した。九条右大臣忠基が左大臣に転じ、関白となった。師良の弟・大納言師嗣が右大臣となり、近衛大納言兼嗣が内大臣となった。この時、二条良基・九条経教・近衛道嗣・鷹司冬通・二条師良の五人が共に前関白として在職していた。今年、南朝は元号を天授と改元した。
