In the third year of Eikyō [1431], second month, Yoshinori made a pilgrimage to Ise Shrine. In the third month, Retired Emperor Go-Komatsu took the tonsure (entered Buddhist orders). In the fourth month, Yoshinori made a pilgrimage to Mount Kōya. In the twelfth month, Yoshinori built a new residence at Muromachi and moved in.
In the fourth year of Eikyō [1432], third month, Yoshinori took Ogasawara Masayasu of Shinano Province as his master of archery. In the seventh month, Regent Mochimoto was appointed Grand Minister of State (Daijō Daijin). This was because in the following year, the Emperor was to come of age (genpuku), and Mochimoto was to perform the cap-crowning ceremony (kakan).
