On the sixteenth day of the fourth month, Uesugi Kiyokata and his forces advanced their armies, attacked the castle of Yūki, set it ablaze, and the castle was finally taken. The castle of Koga also fell. Yūki Ujitomo and his son died in battle, and those who were killed numbered as many as ten thousand. Haruo and Yasuo, disguised as women and placed in a palanquin, attempted to flee the castle, but Nagao Inaba-no-kami captured them alive.
