(Continued from previous page) Saionji Sanetsō was appointed Minister of the Right [Udaijin]. In the fourth month, Grand Chancellor [Daikō] Ichijō Kaneyoshi passed away. He was eighty years of age. The books he authored have been transmitted to the world. Even to this day, his vast learning is praised. In the fifth month, Ōinokami Nobukazu resigned as Minister of the Center [Naidaijin]. In the sixth month, Tokudaiji Dainagon [Great Counselor] Saneatsu was appointed Minister of the Center. In the seventh month, former Minister of the Right Koga Minamoto no Michihiro [interlinear note: his original name was Michinao] was appointed Grand Minister of State [Daijō-daijin]. In the twelfth month, Norisue was appointed Minister of the Left [Sadaijin].
In the fourteenth year [of Bunmei, 1482], in the tenth month, Koga Chancellor [Shōkoku] Michihiro passed away. He was fifty-seven years of age. In the twelfth month, Norisue resigned as Minister of the Left.
