長享二年（1488）八月、一条内大臣冬良が関白となった。九月、九条前関白政忠が薨去した。享年五十歳。同月、近衛前関白政家が太政大臣に任じられた。同月、義尚が内大臣に任じられた。義尚は改名して、義凞と号した。
延徳元年（1489）、三月二十六日、征夷大将軍・従一位・内大臣・源義凞が、江州鉤の里の陣中にて薨去した。享年二十五歳。常徳院と号す。太政大臣を贈られた。文明五年（1473）より今年まで、在職十七年。父・義政は甚だ嘆き悲しみ、さらに後継ぎがいないことを憂えて、義視と和睦した。
四月、義視が美濃より上洛し、落飾（出家）した。義視の子・義村を、義政が養子とした。これより前、義村はすでに従五位下・左馬頭であった。
七月、今出川大納言藤原公興が内大臣に任じられた。

In the eighth month of the second year of Chōkyō [1488], Ichijō Minister of the Center Fuyuyoshi became Regent [Kanpaku]. In the ninth month, former Regent Kujō Masatada passed away. He was fifty years old. In the same month, former Regent Konoe Masaie was appointed Grand Minister of State [Daijō-daijin]. In the same month, Yoshihisa was appointed Minister of the Center [Naidaijin]. Yoshihisa also changed his name, taking the name Yoshihiro [義凞].
In the first year of Entoku [1489], on the twenty-sixth day of the third month, Seii Taishōgun, Junior First Rank, Minister of the Center, Minamoto no Yoshihiro passed away in camp at the village of Magari in Ōmi Province. He was twenty-five years old. He was posthumously titled Jōtoku-in. He was posthumously awarded the rank of Grand Minister of State [Daijō-daijin]. From Bunmei 5 [1473] until this year, he had served in office for seventeen years. His father Yoshimasa grieved deeply and, further lamenting the absence of an heir, made peace with Yoshimi.
