（延徳二年）嘉吉三年（1443）より今年まで、治世四十九年。三月、花山院政長が右大臣を辞した。近衛大納言尚通が右大臣に任じられた。四月、近衛政家が太政大臣を辞した。七月、義村が従四位下に叙せられ、宰相中将に任じられ、征夷大将軍に補せられた。享年二十五歳。
延徳三年（1491）正月七日、入道大納言・源義視が薨去した。享年五十三歳。大智院と号す。太政大臣・従一位を贈られた。三月、公興が内大臣を辞した。二条大納言尚基が内大臣に任じられた。四月、慈照院の舎弟、従三位・左兵衛督・源政知が、伊豆国にて卒した。享年五十七歳。勝幢院と号す。政知の子・義通は、伯父・慈照院の養子とする契約があったと言われている。
明応元年（1492）八月、義村が軍を率いて、江州の六角高頼を攻め、三井寺に陣を敷いた。高頼は甲賀山に隠れた。義村は帰京した。

[Continued from Entoku 2] From the third year of Kakitsu [1443] until this year, his reign lasted forty-nine years. In the third month, Kazan-in Masanaga resigned as Minister of the Right [Udaijin]. Konoe Major Counselor [Dainagon] Hisamichi was appointed Minister of the Right. In the fourth month, Konoe Masaie resigned as Grand Minister of State [Daijō-daijin]. In the seventh month, Yoshimura was elevated to Junior Fourth Rank Lower Grade [Jushii-ge], appointed as Consultant Middle Captain [Saisho Chūjō], and assigned as Seii Taishōgun. He was twenty-five years old.
On the seventh day of the first month of the third year of Entoku [1491], the lay monk Major Counselor [Nyūdō Dainagon] Minamoto no Yoshimi passed away. He was fifty-three years old. He was posthumously titled Daichi-in. He was posthumously awarded the rank of Grand Minister of State [Daijō-daijin] and Junior First Rank. In the third month, Kimimoki resigned as Minister of the Center [Naidaijin]. Nijō Major Counselor [Dainagon] Naomoto was appointed Minister of the Center. In the fourth month, Jishō-in's younger brother, Junior Third Rank, Captain of the Left Gate Guards [Sahyōe no Kami], Minamoto no Masatomo, passed away in Izu Province. He was fifty-seven years old. He was posthumously titled Shōdō-in. It is said that Masatomo's son Yoshimichi had an agreement to be adopted by his uncle Jishō-in.
In the eighth month of the first year of Meiō [1492], Yoshimura led his forces to attack Rokkaku Takayori of Ōmi Province, encamping at Miidera. Takayori hid in the mountains of Kōka. Yoshimura returned to the capital.
