The "Shimamura Crab" is said to derive from this story. And so peace was restored to the capital. In the first year of Tenbun [1532], Yoshiharu returned to the capital from Kutsuki. Hosokawa Ukyō no Daibu Harumoто was appointed kanrei [deputy shogun]. Miyoshi Kaiun wielded great influence but was at odds with Harumoто. As a result of this, Kaiun was killed in Sakai in Izumi Province. In the second month of the second year [of Tenbun, 1533], Konoe Taneka was removed from the position of kampaku, and Kujō Naidaijin Tanemichi became kampaku. In the twelfth month, Imperial Prince Mihito underwent his coming-of-age ceremony [genpuku]. The crown [kakan] was placed by the former kampaku Nijō Harufu [Inbō], and the hair-dressing [rihatu] was performed by the Tō no Chūjō Kimitomo. In the eleventh month of the third year [of Tenbun, 1534], Kujō Tanemichi resigned both as kampaku and naidaijin and fled to Settsu Province. In the twelfth month, Nijō Harufu [Inbō] was reappointed as kampaku. In the fourth month of the fourth year [of Tenbun, 1535], Yoshiharu granted a personal letter [naishō] to Asakura Takakage, permitting him to ride in a lacquered palanquin [nurigoshi]. This was on account of Takakage's loyal military service. In the same month, the titles of Grand Minister of State [Daijō Daijin] and Senior First Rank [Jū Ichii] were posthumously conferred upon Erin-in Yoshitane. In the eighth month, the former Minister of the Left of Sanjō, Sanetsuka, [was appointed] Grand Minister of State…
