これにより申し上げ候のは相調わず候得共、同役と申し合わせ、網目付を差し回し、人目付共の方へ書付を遣わし候のは、当年は特に鮎も見え候趣につき、特に心付けて吟味仕るべく候。万一見捨て聞き捨てに仕り差し置き候えば、越度を仰せ付けられるべき御沙汰の由申し渡し候。
右の段、今日十蔵殿へ申し上げ候えば、もっともの事にと御挨拶申し候。

Therefore, what we reported could not be arranged, but in consultation with fellow officials, we dispatched net inspectors and sent written notices to the people inspectors, stating that this year sweetfish (ayu) are particularly visible, so special attention should be paid to investigations. If any violations are overlooked or ignored, punishment will be imposed by official decree.
Regarding this matter, when reported to Jūzō-sama today, he responded that this was quite appropriate.

One: Regarding the ashigaru (foot soldiers), it was decreed to the group leaders of each unit that group-by-group investigations should be conducted. This is indeed the case. We have heard reports of ashigaru engaging in unlicensed net fishing, but when we reported that this might also have broader repercussions, Jūzō-sama said that reports should continue to be submitted in any case. We also discussed this matter with Kyūemon-sama on the same day.
