御報
一高木善右衛門長崎え被指越次第は右漂着唐船打払
候様御指図有之候へ共漂着之悪船とは違前々漂着
船之躰に付而打払候而は違却之儀も可有之候其段以御
使者被申越筈候得共前以御内証向ゟ丹波守殿へ
とくと高木作右衛門被申達置候様に善右衛門可申談
旨被申含委細之趣は八月廿一日被指上候江戸御用状に
有之
善右衛門持参徳永弥次右衛門へ御家老中ゟ

去一五日之書状令被見候 請之ヶ条略之
一此節之漂着船不法之儀も無之候処打払之儀若は
あや違申事も可有之哉無心元候付其趣高木作右衛門
迄申達候ため高木善右衛門え相含今日差上候委
細《見せ消ち：着｜善》右衛門可申達候間不詳候将又右に付丹波守殿
外記殿へ重畳為相伺候使者伊藤清兵衛明日
差立申筈候以上

御報告
一、高木善右衛門を長崎へ派遣する次第については、右の漂着唐船を打払うよう御指図がありましたが、漂着した悪船とは異なり、従来の漂着船の体裁に付いて打払えば、間違いを犯すこともあり得ます。その段について御使者をもって申し越すはずでしたが、前もって御内証向きから丹波守殿へよくよく高木作右衛門が申し達しておくよう善右衛門が申し談ずべき旨を申し含められました。委細の趣は八月二十一日に提出された江戸御用状にあります。
善右衛門持参 徳永弥次右衛門へ御家老中からの書状の書き抜き
去る十五日の書状を拝見いたしました。請けの箇条は省略します。
一、この度の漂着船には不法の儀もございませんところ、打払いの儀について、もしや間違いを犯すこともあるのではないかと心許なく存じます。その旨を高木作右衛門まで申し達すため、高木善右衛門へ相含め今日差し上げます。委細は善右衛門が申し達すので詳しくは申し上げません。なお右に付き、丹波守殿・外記殿へ重ねて伺うため使者伊藤清兵衛を明日差し立てる予定です。以上

Report
1. Regarding the matter of dispatching Takagi Zenemon to Nagasaki: although there were instructions to expel the drifted Chinese ship, unlike malicious drifted ships, given the nature of previous drifted ships, expelling this one might result in making an error. Although this matter should have been communicated through a messenger, it was previously instructed that Zenemon should discuss with Takagi Sakuemon to have him thoroughly report this to Lord Tamba-no-kami through unofficial channels in advance. The details are contained in the official Edo correspondence submitted on August 21st.
Extract from a letter brought by Zenemon from the senior retainers to Tokunaga Yajiemon
We have reviewed your letter from the 15th. The acknowledgment clauses are omitted.
1. Regarding this drifted ship, there are no illegal matters, yet concerning the expulsion, we are concerned that perhaps mistakes might be made. To communicate this matter to Takagi Sakuemon, I have instructed Takagi Zenemon and am sending this today. Zenemon will report the details, so I will not elaborate further. Additionally, regarding this matter, we plan to dispatch messenger Ito Seibee tomorrow to make further inquiries with Lord Tamba-no-kami and Lord Gaiki. Above.
