一長崎着之上徳永弥次右衛門申談丹波守殿外記殿え
罷出相勤候儀は高木善右衛門承合其上に而弥次右衛門
同道可罷出候則御両所え之口上書調遣之候御両所

一美作殿未滞留に而候はゝ右之次第委細可被申達候
塀番頭中には弥次右衛門ゟ序に申達置候様可被申談候事
一丹波守殿外記殿に而今度漂着船之次第船之恰好等
御尋有之節御挨拶被申候為心得別紙覚書致
遣候并去々年唐泊漂着之寧波船長崎送越候
次第も為心得右覚書に書加へ候事
現代語訳
一、長崎到着の上、徳永弥次右衛門と相談し、丹波守殿・外記殿へ出向いて勤めることについては、高木善右衛門が承知しており、その上で弥次右衛門が同道して出向くことになります。そこで御両所への口上書を調えて遣わします。御両所への口上書の趣旨が異なりますので、御両所がそれぞれ口上書の控えを弥次右衛門から内見されることもあるかもしれません。この点も善右衛門へ確認するよう弥次右衛門へ申し談じてください。これに付き口上書の控え合わせて四通調えて遣わします。
一、右の漂着船をもはや長崎へ送ることに及ばず、直ちに出帆させるよう丹波守殿・外記殿から御指図なされる際の伺い書き覚書二通を別紙で調えてお渡しします。もっとも長崎へ送るよう御指図なされるか、又は打ち払うようにとの儀でありましたら、もちろんこの伺いには及びません。
一、御両所へ勤めて御指図の趣旨が決まりましたら、弥次右衛門と相談して早飛脚をもってお申し越しください。もちろん入り組んだ事柄で書中だけでは分かりにくい訳もございましたら、清兵衛はできる限り急いで帰参してお申しください。
一、美作殿がまだ滞留中でしたら、右の次第を詳細にお申し達しください。塀番頭中には弥次右衛門から序でに申し達して置くようお申し談じください。
一、丹波守殿・外記殿で今度の漂着船の次第、船の恰好などお尋ねがある際の御挨拶をお申しするため心得として別紙覚書をいたして遣わします。並びに去々年唐泊に漂着した寧波船を長崎送越した次第も心得のため右覚書に書き加えてあります。

1. Upon arriving in Nagasaki, regarding consulting with Tokunaga Yajiemon and going out to serve Lords Tamba-no-kami and Gaiki: Takagi Zenemon has been informed of this, and based on that, Yajiemon should accompany him when going out. We are therefore preparing and sending oral presentation documents to both lords. Since the content of the oral presentation documents to both lords differs, there may be occasions when both lords will privately review copies of the oral presentation documents through Yajiemon. This point should also be discussed with Yajiemon so he can confirm with Zenemon. Regarding this, we are preparing and sending four copies of the oral presentation documents in total.

Regarding the aforementioned drifted ship, when Lords Tamba-no-kami and Gaiki give instructions that it is no longer necessary to send it to Nagasaki and to have it depart directly, we have prepared two copies of an inquiry memorandum on separate paper and are giving them to you. Of course, if the instructions are to send it to Nagasaki or to expel it, then this inquiry is naturally unnecessary.

Additionally, for your reference, we have added to this memorandum the circumstances of sending the Ningbo ship that drifted to Karatome the year before last to Nagasaki.
