一今度岐志浦漂着之咬哺吧船長崎え被送越候付
為警固各両人并医師白水養琢御船頭御歩行
目付御側角等相添被指遣候船中無懈怠随分
入念相守末々至迄作法宜物静成様可被申付事
一如先規質唐人両人此方之船に乗せ置船中賄等
申付警固之者例之通乗せ組手堅相守候様可被

一、今度岐志浦に漂着したジャガタラ船を長崎へ送り越される件について、警固のため各々両人並びに医師白水養琢、御船頭、御歩行目付、御側の者等を相添えて指し遣わされ候。船中では懈怠なく随分入念に相守り、末々に至るまで作法よく物静かになるよう申し付けなさい。
一、先規の如く質として唐人両人をこちらの船に乗せ置き、船中の賄等を申し付け、警固の者を例の通り乗せ、組み手堅く相守るよう申し付けなさい。
附 質となる唐人が病気の節は白水養琢が療治するよう申し談じなさい。

1. Regarding the Batavia ship that drifted ashore at Kishi Bay this time and is being sent to Nagasaki: for security purposes, both of you along with physician Shiramizu Yōtaku, ship captain, walking inspector, attendants, etc. are to be assigned and dispatched. During the voyage, maintain vigilant watch without negligence, and ensure that proper decorum and tranquility are maintained throughout.
1. As per previous regulations, place two Chinese men as hostages on our ships, arrange provisions during the voyage, assign guards as usual, and ensure they are securely guarded with reliable crew members.
Addendum: When the Chinese hostages fall ill, Shiramizu Yōtaku should provide medical treatment.
