御口上之趣書付遣之候勿論御口上書差出には不及候
右唐船引渡之儀諸事例格之通相心得無滞様
可被申談候
一右唐船御奉行所引渡相済候は弥次右衛門申談早々
飛脚を以申越候様警固之足軽頭両人え申含尤
引渡済候はゝ警固之面々は早々罷帰候様可被申談候

帆柱損候儀吟味いたし候哉と御尋候はゝ再往筆談
を以相尋候処弥帆柱損し長崎え引送相願申由に候
右筆談之写弥次右衛門ゟ差上候様にと飛脚便に
申遣候由承候と御答可申候若又帆柱損候所見分
候哉と御尋候は 前々ゟ唐船に乗移候儀御制禁に
候故筆談之外には吟味可仕様も無之由御答可申候
現代語訳
御口上の趣旨を書き付けて遣わします。もちろん御口上書を差し出すには及びません。
右の唐船引き渡しの件については、諸事例格の通り心得て、滞りなく申し談じるべきです。
一、右の唐船が御奉行所への引き渡しが済みましたら、弥次右衛門と申し談じ、早々に飛脚をもって申し越すよう、警固の足軽頭両人に申し含めました。もっとも引き渡しが済みましたら、警固の面々は早々に罷り帰るよう申し談じるべきです。

なお、そちらにおいて外記殿から孫六・瀬兵衛に「この度の唐船の帆柱が損じた件について吟味いたしたか」とお尋ねになりましたら、「再三筆談をもって相尋ねたところ、やはり帆柱が損じ、長崎へ引き送ることを願い申した」とのことです。
右の筆談の写しを弥次右衛門から差し上げるようにと飛脚便に申し遣わした由を承ったとお答え申すべきです。もしまた「帆柱が損じた所を見分したか」とお尋ねになりましたら、「前々から唐船に乗り移ることは御制禁でありますゆえ、筆談の外には吟味いたしようもございません」とお答え申すべきです。

You should respond that you have heard that word was sent by express messenger that Yajiemon should submit copies of these written communications. If further asked whether you inspected the damaged mast, you should answer: "Since boarding Chinese ships has long been prohibited by regulation, there was no way to investigate other than through written communication."
