■日月燈明仏
『法華経』第一に言う「過去の無量無辺不可思議阿僧祇劫の昔に、日月燈明仏と号する仏がいた（乃至）世尊と号した」

『法華定珍』に言う「二万が表すのは、万行と万善である。また千如を十善に配すれば万となる。これを権・実に約して二万となる」

The Hokke Jōchin states: "What the twenty thousand represents is the ten-thousand practices and the ten-thousand virtues. Furthermore, if the thousand suchnesses are applied to the ten good precepts, they become ten thousand. This, considered in terms of the provisional and the true, becomes twenty thousand."
