【右上】
■文殊師利菩薩
これは過去久遠の大導師であり、三世の諸仏が出世する際の智慧の母である。十方の如来が発心する時の薩埵である。

■児文殊
『涅槃経』に言う：「十方の世界に仏がある国も仏がない国も、大乗が流れ演じられるのは、皆これ文殊の力である」

■普賢菩薩
徳利が周遍することを「普」と名づけ、仁慈恵悟を「賢」という。『華厳経普賢行願品』に言う：「願わくは我が命終に臨もうとする時に、悉く一切の諸障碍を除き、面してよく仏阿弥陀を見奉り、即ち往生を安楽国に得ん」

This is the great teacher of the distant past, the mother of wisdom when buddhas of the three times appear in the world. This is the bodhisattva when tathāgatas of the ten directions first generate the aspiration for awakening.

The Nirvana Sutra says: "In the worlds of the ten directions, whether there are buddha-lands or non-buddha-lands, all the flowing forth and exposition of the Mahāyāna is the power of Mañjuśrī."

The pervasive spread of virtuous benefit is called "universal" (fu), and benevolent compassion and wise awakening is called "worthy" (ken). The Avatamsaka Sutra's Chapter on Samantabhadra's Practices and Vows says: "I pray that when I am about to face death, I will completely remove all obstacles and hindrances, directly see Buddha Amitābha, and immediately attain rebirth in the Land of Peace and Bliss."
