Manifesting a great wrathful form, this deity appeared on Mount Kinpusen. In the right hand, a three-pronged vajra (sankō) is grasped, the arm is raised, and the left hand presses against the abdomen, with both eyes clearly glaring in fury. This is the aspect of subduing demonic obstacles.

This deity manifested as Yudono Gongen through the "trace-revealing" principle (wakō) at the headwaters of the Obōjigawa River in Dewa Province. The honji is the Dharmakāya Dainichi (Mahāvairocana).
