(Continued from previous page) ...the said forest has become difficult [to manage] due to petitions for farmland conversion. Therefore, we wish to offer a substitute forest land of approximately one chō and five hundred bu, located at the new forest in a place called Inarisawa, owned by the village shrine priest, as a donated mountain [in place of the original]. We humbly petition that, through your benevolence, our request be granted as stated above, which would be a most grateful fortune.
