御領分樋口村東割御林の内、悪木の分を代金二十六両にてお買い請け仕りたく、願い上げ奉り候。右の内、金九両は去る冬中に上納仕り候。残金の儀は、御沙汰次第上納仕るべく候。何卒御慈悲をもって、願い上げ奉り候通り仰せ付けくだし置かれ候わば、有り難い仕合わせに存じ奉り候。以上。

We humbly submit this written petition.
We respectfully request permission to purchase the portion designated as "inferior timber" (akugi) within the eastern section (higashiwari) of the domain's forest in Higuchimura, for the sum of twenty-six ryō. Of this amount, nine ryō has already been remitted during the past winter. The remaining balance shall be paid upon your honorable instruction. We most humbly implore that, in your gracious benevolence, you grant our petition as stated above. We would consider it a most grateful fortune. Respectfully submitted.
