恐れながら書付をもって願い上げ奉ります。
御領分の樋口村東割にある御林（藩有林）のうち、悪木（不要な雑木）の分を、代金二十六両にてお買い上げ申したく、願い上げ奉ります。右の代金のうち金九両は去る冬中に上納いたしました。残金につきましては、御沙汰次第、上納いたします。何卒、御慈悲をもって、願い上げ奉りました通りにお聞き届けいただけますれば、有り難く幸せに存じます。以上。

**Respectful Petition Submitted in Writing**
We humbly petition regarding the following matter:
We wish to purchase the unwanted/undesirable trees (akugi) within the domain forest located in the Higashiwari area of Higuchimura, within your domain's territory, for the sum of twenty-six ryō. Of this amount, nine ryō was already submitted as payment during last winter. The remaining balance will be paid promptly upon your instruction. We most humbly and respectfully request that, in your benevolence, our petition be granted as described above. Should this be approved, we would be most gratefully obliged.
