豈偶然￣ナランヤ乎。吾師之慈母也。家世百宝之邑
長也。為￣リ＿レ 人￣ト貞正端直。頗￣ル通￣シ＿二肘後之術￣ニ＿一。然￣レトモ婦
女子之身。非￣ス＿二敢￣テ専￣ルニ＿一＿レ之￣ヲ。唯有￣ハ＿二隣里病者＿一。則往

右の五味を各等分にして細末にし、毎日一銭ずつ熱燗にて服用すべきである。

そもそも非常の人がいれば、必ず非常の人を生むものである。昔、文母がいて文王が生まれた。孟母がいて孟子が生まれた。これは偶然であろうか。我が師の慈母は、代々百宝の邑の長の家系である。人となりは貞正端直で、医術にかなり通じていた。しかし婦女子の身として、敢えてそれを専門とはしなかった。ただ隣里に病者がいると、出向いてこれを救った。また敢えて報酬を求めることもなかった。まさに仁の道を能くするものと言えよう。そのため遠近の人々がその徳を慕い、治療を乞う者が日々門前に溢れていた。我が師が生まれると、明敏で理解が早く、二十歳で江戸に遊学し、秀菴先生の門下で学問を受けた。既にその奥義を極め、最も産科に精通していた。
