　大小套枕中蔵数具客至則人授一枕

現代語訳

大小の套枕があり、中に数個の枕を収納している。客が来ると一人に一つずつ枕を渡す。

茶碗（茶托　茶帚）

茶碗は黄色で（白地のものはない）、青緑の花草が描かれている。これは土噶喇の産で、その質はやや粗い。花模様はなく氷紋だけのものは大島の産である。

茶碗の上に小さな木の蓋を作り、朱と黒の漆を塗り、下には空心の托子を作る。製作はかなり精巧である。茶碗はかなり大きいが、茶を注ぐのは二、三分目までで、菓子の小片をスプーンに貯える。これは中国の献茶法を学んだものである。もし国中の烹茶法であれば、茶末に細粉を少し混ぜて碗に入れ、沸騰した湯を半碗ほど注ぎ、小さな竹の茶筅で数十回攪拌し、泡を立てて碗の表面いっぱいにするのを適度として、客に敬意を表する。

Tea Bowls (Tea Stands, Tea Whisks)

The tea bowls are yellow in color (there are no white-based ones), decorated with blue-green floral patterns. These come from Tokara, and their quality is somewhat coarse. Those without flower patterns but only with ice-crack patterns come from Oshima.

A small wooden lid is made for the tea bowl, lacquered in vermillion and black, with a hollow stand made underneath. The craftsmanship is quite elaborate. The tea bowls are quite large, but tea is poured only to two or three-tenths full, with a small piece of confection stored in the spoon. This follows the Chinese tea presentation method. If following the domestic tea brewing method, tea powder is mixed with a little fine powder and put in the bowl, boiling water is poured to about half the bowl, and it is stirred dozens of times with a small bamboo whisk until foam rises to fill the entire surface of the bowl, which is considered appropriate to show respect to guests.
