脾胃（ひゐ）虚（きよ）するゆゑに気鬱（きうつ）し。気鬱（きうつ）するゆゑに血（ち）凝（こ）る。血（ち）凝滞（こりとゞこふ）るゆゑに
蒸熱（せうねつ）す。其／悪毒（あくどく）と六気（ろくき）七情（ひちじやう）と相／交（まじはり）て積鬱（しやくうつ）するゆゑ。脾肝（ひかん）の
虫ます〳〵広大（くはうだい）となり変化（へんくは）して労咳（ろうがい）となる。こゝに至（いたつ）て弥（いよ〳〵）その虫（むし）
体（たい）をむすひ。臓腑中（ざうふちう）に在（あつ）て津液（しんゑき）を吸（す）ひ精肉（せいにく）を喰（くら）ひ尽し。遂（つひ）に

○ 傷寒（しやうかん）
傷寒は風寒（ふうかん）暑湿（しよしつ）の天邪（てんじや）におかされ発（はつ）する病にて。一時半時（いちじはんとき）を
あらそひ。薬（くすり）に加減（かげん）あるゆゑ。《割書：予》が薬（くすり）にては及（およ）ばず。随分（ずいぶん）よろしき医（い）に
随心（ずいしん）するがよし。傷寒（しやうかん）のゝち乱心（らんしん）となることあり。これには《割書：予》が良薬（くすり）
壱弐ふく用ひ奇妙（きめう）に治（ぢ）す。又／傷寒後（しやうかんご）邪（じや）去（さつ）て気血（きけつ）不調和（とゝのはざる）に
用ひて効験（こうけん）あること用ひてしるべし

此病は平生（へいぜい）美食（びしよく）して身体（しんたい）を働（はた）らかせず。為（なす）ことなくて根気（こんき）不相（ふさう）
応（わう）の思慮（しりよ）を過（すご）し。脾虚（ひきよ）して胸膈（むなさき）より下へ水を制（くだ）することあた
はず。水気（すいき）上る滞（とゞこふ）り。大便／常（つね）に結（けつ）し心下（むね）せぐるしくいたみ。顔色（かほいろ）
青（あを）く痩（やせ）おとろふをいふ。此薬王円は脾胃を補益（おぎな）ひ水気（すいき）を

脾胃が虚するために気が鬱滞し、気が鬱滞するために血が凝る。血が凝滞するために
蒸熱する。その悪毒と六気七情とが相交わって積鬱するため、脾肝の
虫がますます広大となり変化して労咳となる。ここに至ってますますその虫が
体を結び、臓腑中に在って津液を吸い精肉を食い尽くし、ついに
死をもたらす。恐るべきことこの上ないではないか。これは皆そのもとは脾胃の虚損より
起こるのである。その他風寒暑湿の疾患にかかっても、まったく気の滞りを感じる
ところであって、外に疾患を発すべき理由はない。私の薬王円はその根本の脾
胃を補益し気血をよく巡らして、瘀血を消解する大妙薬であるから
大人小児ともに用いて病を治すのに、何の違いがあろうか

○ 傷寒

従うのがよい。傷寒の後乱心となることがある。これには私の良薬を
一、二服用いて奇妙に治す。また傷寒後邪が去って気血が調和しないのに
用いて効験があることは用いて知るべきである

arises from deficiency and damage of the spleen and stomach. Even when afflicted by other diseases of wind, cold, heat, and dampness, it is entirely a place where qi stagnation is felt,
and there is no reason for disease to manifest externally. My Yakuō-en (Medicine King Pills) fundamentally tonify the spleen
and stomach, promote good circulation of qi and blood, and dissolve stagnant blood—a great miraculous medicine, so
whether used by adults or children to treat disease, what difference could there be?

○ Cold Damage (Shōkan)
Cold damage is a disease that occurs when invaded by the heavenly evils of wind, cold, heat, and dampness, where every moment is critical
and medications require modifications, so my medicine is insufficient. It is best to
follow a very good physician. After cold damage, mental derangement sometimes occurs. For this, my good medicine
should be used for one or two doses and will cure it remarkably. Also, after cold damage when the evil has departed but qi and blood are not harmonized,
its effectiveness when used should be known through use

area, water qi stagnating upward, bowel movements constantly constipated, the epigastric region feeling oppressed and painful, complexion
