心火（しんくは）さかんとなつて骨焦（こつしやう）し。肥肉（ひにく）痰（たん）沫（あわ）となり。咳（せき）を生（しやう）ず。これ脾胃（ひゐ）の
陽気（やうき）うすく。順（めぐ）る処（ところ）の気血（きけつ）胸膈（むねのあひだ）にせまり。発動（はつどう）せざるゆへ労（ろう）
咳（がい）となる。其はじめ大便／結（けつ）し又は水瀉（みづくだ）り。腹（はら）にかたまり出来（でき）動（どう）
気（き）つよく背（せ）なかへこりのぼせ。やせつかれ。痰（たん）沫（あわ）を吐（は）く。号（なづけ）て労咳（らうがい）と
いふ。つかれ咳（せき）いづるといふ義（ぎ）なり。いづれ六（むつ）かしき病症（びやうせう）といへども。大便
かたち有（ある）か又／下剤（くだる）うちに。此薬王円用ひあらば。痢（り）を止（とゞ）め結（けつ）するを
和（やは）らげ。こと〳〵く治（ぢ）すること請合（うけあひ）なり然（しか）れども此薬／服（ふく）せざる前（まへ）に大（たい）

常々（つね〴〵）月水（けいすい）に清血（せいけつ）多（おほ）く下（くだ）り痩（やせ）おとろふ人／右（みき）の通（とふり）にしてもちひ効（こう）

現代語訳
心火が盛んとなって骨焦し、肥肉が痰沫となり、咳を生ずる。これは脾胃の
陽気が薄く、巡るべき気血が胸膈に迫り、発動しないため労
咳となる。その始まりは大便が便秘し又は水様下痢し、腹部にかたまりができ、動
悸が強く背中へのこりが上がり、やせ疲れ、痰沫を吐く。これを労咳と
いう。疲れて咳が出るという意味である。いずれも難しい病症といっても、大便に
形があるか又は下痢の中に、この薬王円を用いれば、下痢を止め便秘を
和らげ、ことごとく治すことは請け合いである。しかしながらこの薬を服用する前に大
便が下痢でもなく、例えば挽き臼で挽いた味噌のごとく、ゆるんで形が
ないものは用いても効果なし。用いてはならない。

○ 崩漏
婦人の崩漏というのは、急に月経が大量に下り堪えられないことがある。この薬王円
散薬をきつね色に煎って一服用いれば即座に奇効がある。三、
四服用いて快気することは神のごとしである。
常々月経に清血が多く下り痩せ衰える人も右の通りにして用い、効
能は速やかである。

婦人に白い血、流れる血といって、月経が平生膿血のようになって

Heart fire becomes excessive causing bone scorching, and fatty flesh becomes phlegm froth, producing cough. This is because the spleen-stomach's
yang qi is thin, and the qi and blood that should circulate press upon the chest diaphragm area without moving, thus becoming consumptive
cough. Its beginning involves constipated bowel movements or watery diarrhea, lumps forming in the abdomen, strong
palpitations with stiffness rising to the back, emaciation and fatigue, and spitting up phlegm froth. This is called consumptive cough,
meaning cough arising from exhaustion. Although these are all difficult conditions, if the bowel movements have
form or during diarrhea, if this Yakuō-en is used, it will stop diarrhea and
soften constipation, treating everything completely without fail. However, if before taking this medicine the bowel
movements are neither diarrheal nor, for example, like miso ground in a grinding mill - loose and without form -
then using it will have no effect. It should not be used.

○ Flooding and Leaking (Bōrō)
Women's flooding and leaking refers to when menstruation suddenly flows heavily and becomes unbearable. This Yakuō-en
powder medicine should be fried to a fox color and one dose used, which will have immediate miraculous effect. Using three or
four doses brings recovery as if by divine intervention.
For those who constantly have much clear blood flowing with menstruation and become thin and weak, using it as described above, the effectiveness
is rapid.

○ Red and White Stagnant Discharge
