胃／虚（きよ）より発（はつ）する事／医書（いしよ）に／詳（つまひらか）なり。此故に《割書：予》が薬王円にて
こと〴〵く治（ぢ）す

ごとく。手足（てあし）までも浮腫（はれ）くるしみ。終（つひ）には死（し）する人あり。《割書：予》か薬王円
は脾胃（ひゐ）を補益（とゝのへ）気血を順（めぐ）らし小便（せうべん）をよく通（つう）ずる。神剤（くすり）ゆゑ。
別して此症（このせう）に奇効（きこう）あること神（しん）の如（ごと）し

ふうちに手（て）おくれとなりて。天数（てんすう）尽（つき）ざるに命（めい）を亡（ほろ）ほす者
世に多（おほ）し。是を見るに忍（しの）びず病論（びやうろん）病症（びやうせう）を挙（あげ）て世（よ）の人（ひと）の
天寿（てんじゆ）を保（たもた）しめんと欲（ほつ）す。能々（よく〳〵）考（かんが）へ服薬（ふくやく）あるべきこと専要（せんよう）也

○ 腹部膨満 《付》水腫
この症状は古方に鼓脹とある。その病根は三種といっても、おそらく脾胃の虚から発することは医書に詳しい。この故に私の薬王円でことごとく治す。

能書なれば、ただ薬を広めんとのみ種々文華を飾る能書と同じにして論ずべからず。病に基づき、あの医師、この薬と迷ううちに手遅れとなって、天数尽きざるに命を失う者が世に多い。これを見るに忍びず、病論病症を挙げて世の人の天寿を保たしめんと欲す。よくよく考えて服薬あるべきこと専要なり。
