全体に五本の縞がある。写生のとおりである。「事物紺珠」（または類似の文献）には「石虎に似る」と記されている。あるいは「清文鑑」に言う「華錦鼠」とも呼ばれている。

Kashike-kurokuchi (#1 A type of mountain mouse/rodent)
It has five stripes across its entire body. As depicted from life. According to the "Jibutsu Konju" (or a similar reference work), it is said to resemble the "stone tiger." It is also referred to as the "Huajin mouse" (華錦鼠) as noted in the "Qing Wen Jian" (清文鑑).
