堺江仲買之者申付

包之侭正路之直段を

仲買之もの先初之通

現代語訳
朱砂および朱墨は朱座以外に、江戸・京都・大坂・奈良・堺において仲買業者を指定し、掛札番をして朱座および右の仲買業者からも自由に買い求めることができるよう寛政八年（辰年）に触れ出したところ、右の仲買業者を差し止めることになったので、今後は座方から直接買い求めるようにすること。ただし朱砂は朱座の包装のまま正当な値段で小売りすることは差し支えないという趣旨等を去る卯年に触れ置いた。
しかしながら、このたび右の五ヶ所の仲買業者を最初の通りに指定することになったので、かえって寛政年間に触れ出した通りに心得ること。もしこの上で出所の怪しい品物を内々で売買したという段について聞くことがあれば、吟味の上、厳しく咎める。
英語訳
Regarding cinnabar and cinnabar ink, besides the cinnabar guild (shuza), licensed brokers were appointed in Edo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Sakai, and it was proclaimed in Kansei 8 (year of the dragon) that people could freely purchase from both the cinnabar guild and these brokers through designated agents. However, since these brokers were subsequently suspended, it was ordered that purchases should henceforth be made directly from the guild. Nevertheless, it was proclaimed in the previous year of the rabbit that there would be no problem with retailing cinnabar in its original guild packaging at proper prices.
However, since the brokers in the aforementioned five locations are now being reinstated as originally planned, people should follow the regulations as proclaimed during the Kansei era. If we hear of anyone secretly buying or selling goods of suspicious origin beyond this point, they will be severely punished after investigation.
