一丁代名主代判組合頭義御法度
相催候者有之候ハゝ厳敷意見
差加へ不相用二おいてハ取扱
方も可有之處等閑二打過
不埒二付過料銭申付候
右之通今戴許条得其意
向後身分を慎諸事御判
禁筋厳重相守家業
可相励候此上不埒之所行有之二
おいてハ厳科可申付条急度
其旨可存尤過怠勤申付
候者共ハ其筋之得差図
御奉公正路二可相勤候且
過科銭三日之内可相納候

現代語訳
一、町代・名主代・判組合頭について、法度（の博打）を催す者がいる場合には、厳しく意見を加え、それに従わない場合には取り扱い方もあるべきところ、等閑に見過ごした段、不埒につき過料銭を申し付ける。
右の通り、今後厳しく条令を得て、その意味を理解し、向後身分を慎み、諸事御法禁の筋を厳重に相守り、家業に励むべきである。この上不埒な所行があった場合には厳科を申し付ける条、急度その旨を理解すべきである。もっとも過怠勤を申し付けられた者どもは、その筋の指図を得て、御奉公を正路に勤めるべきである。かつ過科銭は三日の内に納入すべきである。
右の趣旨について、各々立ち合いの上申し渡すべきである。以上

1. Regarding town representatives, village headman deputies, and group leaders: When there are those who organize forbidden (gambling), they should add strict admonition, and when such admonition is not heeded, there should be proper handling procedures. However, for carelessly overlooking such matters, penalty money is imposed due to this misconduct.
As stated above, henceforth strictly obtaining the regulations and understanding their meaning, one should conduct oneself prudently according to one's status, strictly observe all legal prohibitions, and diligently pursue one's occupation. Should there be any further misconduct, severe punishment will be imposed, and this must be clearly understood. Furthermore, those who have been imposed disciplinary fines should receive proper guidance from the appropriate authorities and serve their public duties on the right path. Additionally, penalty money must be paid within three days.
The above matters should be announced to each person in the presence of witnesses. The above.
