一、品々の注文品の書付がこちらに到着し拝見しましたが、追々承るには、本当に諸物価が高値で、なかなか調達できません。長兵衛のところで申しますには、江戸でもあきれているとのことです。今のところ袴も羽織も帯も一切注文せず、五分服で済ませております。博多帯で気に入ったところでも、男帯で三両と申します。いかがいたしましょうか。女帯の古い帛紗は十両と申すそうで承っております。一品も買い入れておりません。道中も諸物価が高値で、ちょっと一休みで二百文、中食五百文から、一杯付き合いでいたしますと二朱ずつかかります。恐縮なことでございます。
