恐れながら口上書をもってお願い申し上げる件
中町布屋市右衛門の跡継ぎが一時途絶えており候ところ、この度私の弟万兵衛に内縁の関係もございますので、養子に差し向け跡継ぎを相続させたく内々に相談いたしました。これによりお願い申し上げます。
右の趣旨について、ご慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通りお取り計らいくださいますれば、ありがたき幸せと存じます。以上

Respectfully Submitted Petition
The succession of Nakamachi Nunoya Ichiemon has been temporarily interrupted. As my younger brother Manbei has formed a domestic relationship, I have privately discussed sending him as an adopted son to continue the succession. Therefore, I respectfully submit this petition.
Regarding the above matter, I humbly request your merciful consideration as petitioned. Should you graciously grant this request, it would be most grateful and fortunate. The above.
