理太郎は悪い魂にいざなわれ、吉原へやって来た。商売だけで帰ろうと思っていたが、遊女を見てからますます悪い魂に心を奪われ、とある茶屋を頼んで、三浦屋の「あやの」という女郎を揚げて遊んだ。
するとたちまち魂が天上へ飛んで帰ることを忘れ、全く正気がなくなってしまった。

英語訳
Ritaro was lured by evil souls and came to Yoshiwara. He had intended to return after just conducting business, but after seeing the courtesans, his heart was increasingly captured by evil souls. He relied on a certain teahouse and paid for the services of a courtesan named "Ayano" from the Miura-ya establishment to enjoy himself.
Then suddenly, his soul forgot to fly back to heaven, and he completely lost his senses.
