現代語訳
こうして床に収まり、ほどなく女郎がやって来ると、あの悪い魂どもは女郎の手を取って理太郎の帯を解き、肌と肌をぴったりと密着させた。また理太郎の手を取って女郎の襟の下へぐっと差し込ませた。この時理太郎は精神が溶けるようであった。
「打ちを被ったらどうするするもんだ」

年久しく理太郎の体を住みかとして忠義を尽くしてきた良い魂は、この度の不行跡で悪い魂のために縛り上げられ、理太郎の身の上がどうなるかと心配しているが、誰も縛めを解いてくれる者もいないので、一人心を焦らせている。
「この所は岩五郎か伊三郎の毒銀の詮もあって然るべし」
「俺は谷口の兵庫の女房、心学鬼の焼姫というものだ」

Thus they settled into bed, and when the courtesan arrived shortly after, those evil souls took the courtesan's hand, untied Ritaro's obi sash, and made skin press tightly against skin.
