私の代官所である甲州山梨郡岩窪村の長百姓市兵衛並びに村役人一同の件について、同村の敷地内にある武田信玄墓碑の囲い石垣建設の件を願い出たため、担当者を派遣して現場を見分の上、詳しく調査したところ、同村の芝間の内、法性院大僧正が信玄の墓と認めた墓碑が建てられている。
この墓碑の高さは五尺六寸で、三重の台石の上にある。

Statement regarding the construction of stone walls to enclose Takeda Shingen's tombstone
Regarding the matter of Ichibei, the head farmer of Iwakubo Village in Yamanashi District, Kai Province, under my magistrate's jurisdiction, along with the village officials, who have petitioned for the construction of stone walls to enclose Takeda Shingen's tombstone within the village grounds. After dispatching an official to inspect the site and conducting a detailed investigation, we found that within the Shiba-ma area of the same village, there stands a tombstone that the Great Monk Hōshō-in recognizes as Shingen's grave.
This tombstone stands five shaku and six sun in height and is mounted on a three-tiered stone base.
