一 当村石切之儀其詮儀仕候処今年書上之通
少も相違無御座候石切旅稼ニ罷出候者先々ニ而
師匠弟子之取組仕間敷候万一壱人成共隠置後
日為御聞候ハヽ御注進可被成候其上拙者共石切
請負証文依而如件

差し上げ申し上げる一札の件
一、当村の石切の件について詮議いたしましたところ、今年書き上げた通り、少しも相違ございません。石切が旅稼ぎに出かける者は、先々で師匠と弟子の関係を結んではいけません。万一一人でも隠し置いて、後日お聞きになることがございましたら、ご注進くださいますよう。その上で私ども石切請負の証文により、以上の通りです。

A formal pledge submitted
Regarding the stone cutters of our village, after conducting a thorough investigation, we confirm that there are no discrepancies from what was reported this year. Stone cutters who go out to work in distant places shall not form master-disciple relationships at their destinations. Should even one person be concealed and this come to your attention later, please report it immediately. Based on this, we submit this contract guaranteeing the stone cutters.
