支障をきたさないよう包み方を行うよう銀座にも申し渡してあるので、少しの
手擦れを理由にあれこれ言って歩合などを受け取って引き替える者が
いた場合は、吟味の上厳重に処罰する。
この趣旨について、武家・在町・寺社領ともに漏れなく、御料は
代官、私領は領主・地頭から触れ渡すこと。
右の通り触れ渡すべし。
十月十四日
右の通り幕府から書付が出されたので町中へ触れ渡すべし。以上

古銀金、真字二歩判、古二朱銀、文政度文字金銀、
草字二歩判、五両判、二朱銀、古一朱銀とも通用
停止の分について当午年十月まで引き替えるよう去る巳年に触れ渡したところ、
今でも引き替えない銭も多くあるため、引替所の件についてさらに
来る未年十月まで従来通り差し置くので、諸事先だって
触れ渡した通り心得て、右の期限を限りとして引き替えること。
右の通り、御料は代官、私領は領主・地頭から入念に
申し付けること。

Since we have also instructed the ginza (silver guild) to conduct wrapping methods without causing disruption, if there are those who make various excuses about minor wear and receive commissions for exchanges, they shall be strictly punished after investigation.
Regarding this matter, it shall be proclaimed without exception to samurai residences, country towns, and temple/shrine territories - for government lands through magistrates, and for private domains through domain lords and local administrators.
This shall be proclaimed as written above.

Regarding old silver and gold coins, genuine character ni-bu (two-bu) coins, old ni-shu (two-shu) silver, Bunsei-era character gold and silver, grass character ni-bu coins, five-ryō coins, ni-shu silver, and old isshu (one-shu) silver - all of which had their circulation suspended - we proclaimed in the previous Snake year that they should be exchanged by October of this Horse year. However, since there are still many coins that have not been exchanged, regarding the matter of exchange locations, we shall continue the current system until October of the coming Sheep year. Therefore, keep in mind what was previously proclaimed and exchange them within the specified time limit.
As written above, for government lands through magistrates, and for private domains through domain lords and local administrators, this shall be carefully implemented.
