一他国江石切ニ罷出候ものとも五人
組仲間切々銘々吟味仕申候事
一従 御公儀様被 仰付候
御法度筋之儀於旅先ニ
茂相背申間敷候事
一此者共儀旅先定宿等
脇書相記候通少茂相違
無御座候若暮ニ至リ
不罷帰者御座候ハヽ

注進可仕候事
現代語訳
差し上げ申し上げる一札の事
一、他国へ石切（石工）に出向く者たちを、五人組の仲間が各々吟味いたします
一、御公儀様から仰せ付けられている御法度の筋について、旅先においても決して背くことはいたしません
一、この者たちの旅先での定宿等については、脇書に記載した通りで少しも相違ございません。もし暮れになっても帰って来ない者がおりましたら、五人組の仲間並びに請人が注進いたします
英語訳
A pledge document submitted herewith:
Article 1: The members of the five-person groups shall examine each of those who go to other provinces to work as stone cutters.
Article 2: Regarding the prohibitions ordained by the Shogunate, we shall never violate them even while traveling.
Article 3: Concerning the designated lodgings and other arrangements for these individuals while traveling, there are no discrepancies whatsoever from what is recorded in the side notes. Should any person fail to return by year's end, the five-person group members and guarantors shall report this matter.
