之則摂於豪釐無滅無
生歴千劫而不古若隠隱若
顕運百福而長今妙道凝
玄遵之莫知其際法流湛
寂挹之莫測其源故知蠢
々凡愚区々庸鄙投其旨

その威霊を挙げれば上極まりなく、その神力を抑えれば下極まりなし。大にして推し広めれば宇宙に弥（あまね）く満ち、細にして収めれば一毫一釐（ごくわずかなもの）をも摂（おさ）め取る。滅なく生なく、千劫を経ても古びることなし——隠れるかに見えて、また顕れるかに見えつつ——百福を運びて永久に今に長ずる。妙なる道は玄理を凝らし、これに遵（したが）えどもその際（きわ）を知る者なし。法の流れは湛然として寂かに、これを挹（く）めどもその源を測る者なし。それゆえ知る——蠢々たる凡愚も、区々たる庸鄙（ようひ）も、その旨（むね）に身を投じれば……
英語訳
Raise up its awesome spiritual power, and there is nothing above it; press down its divine force, and there is nothing below it. Extend it to the great, and it pervades the entire cosmos; reduce it to the small, and it embraces even the finest hair's-breadth. There is neither extinction nor birth; passing through a thousand kalpas, it does not grow old. Whether hidden or manifest, it carries the hundred blessings and endures forever in the present. The wondrous Way crystallizes in profound mystery — follow it, and none can know its furthest limit. The flow of the Dharma runs deep and still — draw from it, and none can fathom its source. Thus we know — even the teeming masses of ordinary fools, even the petty and the vulgar, if they but commit themselves to its meaning...
