【右丁】 暮らしておりましたので、それに準じて町方も多人数で共に稼ぎにもなり、宗門人別帳についても男女で二千二、三百人位もおりましたところ、近頃では三分の一の人数になり、さらに軒数についても焼失以前までは三百軒程もありましたところ、類焼により現在では本建築百五十軒ほど、仮家六十軒程ございます内、空き家も相当ございます次第で、番方等を務める者も少人数で難渋しておりますため、鉾持村または近在へ引っ越しする者もあり、その他一、二年の内に身代を潰す者も多数おります。殊に今春に至って家内を連れて他所の親類方へ厄介になりに行った類もございまして、いよいよ町方が 【左丁】 衰微しております。旧来の者も追々難渋するようになり、または断絶してしまい、町に寄り掛かって御役儀を務める者もいない程で、嘆かわしく存じております。 右の前条で申し上げました通り、町方は
