差上申一札之事
私儀鎌売買仕候ニ付奉蒙御不審一言之申訳
無御座恐入奉誤候然上者鎌之儀者不申及
《見せ消ち：親》黒打物之内新規濃道具一切売ニ仕間敷候
此度之儀者格別之以 御慈悲御咎筋御赦免
被成下難有仕合奉存候依之一札差上申候処仍如件

現代語訳
差し上げ申し上げる一札の件について
私は鎌の売買をいたしておりましたところ、ご不審をお受けし、一言の申し訳もございません。恐れ入って謝罪申し上げます。その上は、鎌のことは申すまでもなく、黒打物の内、新規の農具一切を売ってはいけません。
この度の件は格別のご慈悲をもって、お咎めの件をお許しくださり、ありがたい幸せに存じます。よって一札を差し上げ申し上げます。

前文の通り間違いございませんので、私どもの奥印をいたして差し上げ申し上げます。

右この度の一件、質屋は格別につき新規の農具は売買一切いたしません。農具の柄の件は勝手次第でございます。
その他の見世では農具は新古ともにいけないとのお沙汰につき、やむを得ず東右衛門も一札を差し上げ申し上げます。もちろん町方の内、この度一札を差し出し申し上げました人数は、鉾持町東右衛門、下も町清七、中町勘四郎・治兵衛・季吉、本町庄蔵・忠左衛門・弥兵衛・忠七・彦兵衛・平右衛門、横町紋十郎・宗兵衛、合計十三軒です。
恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げ申し上げる件について
一 私は都合が悪くなりましたので、油の元絞りを止めたく存じます
右の趣旨、ご慈悲をもって願い上げ申し上げます通りに仰せ付けてくださいますなら、ありがたい幸せに存じます。以上

Written pledge submitted:
Regarding my sickle trading business, I have caused suspicion and have no excuse to offer. I humbly apologize for this transgression. From now on, not only sickles but also any new agricultural tools among blacksmith products shall not be sold.
In this matter, through your exceptional benevolence, you have pardoned the charges against me, for which I am most grateful and fortunate. Therefore, I submit this written pledge.

Regarding this recent case, pawnshops are treated specially, so new agricultural tools shall not be bought or sold at all. Matters concerning tool handles are at one's discretion.
Since other shops have been ordered that agricultural tools, both new and old, are not permitted, Tōemon has unavoidably also submitted a written pledge. Of course, among the townspeople, those who submitted pledges this time are: Hokimochi-machi Tōemon, Shimomo-machi Seishichi, Naka-machi Kanshirō, Jibei, Sueyoshi, Honmachi Shōzō, Chūzaemon, Yahei, Chūshichi, Hikobei, Heiemon, Yoko-machi Monjūrō, Sōbei - a total of thirteen establishments.
Humbly submitted petition in writing:
One I have fallen into difficult circumstances, so I wish to cease oil pressing operations
