仰せつかり、ありがたく存じ勤めておりますが、続けて
不如意になり、勤めることが困難と存じます。つきましては
町代の役職をご免除いただきますよう
お願い申し上げます。以上
この趣旨について、ご慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通り
仰せつけいただけましたら、ありがたい幸せと存じます。以上

Humbly, I respectfully petition through this oral statement:
Although I am an inadequate person, I have been appointed
to the position of town representative, which I consider a grateful
honor and have been serving in. However, due to continuing
financial difficulties, I find it difficult to continue serving.
Therefore, I humbly request that I be relieved
of the position of town representative. The above.
Regarding this matter, if you would graciously grant my request
as petitioned through your compassion, it would be a most grateful
blessing. The above.
