池田岩之丞様ご支配所下伊奈郡和合村の善作と
申す者は、これまで勢利町の吉左衛門の請け合いで御水役を勤め、木挽きの職業
をしておりましたが、吉左衛門が請け合いの免除をお願いしたため、改めて私が
請け合いをして御水役を勤め、木挽きの職業をしたく存じます。よってお願い申し上げます。

We humbly submit this oral petition regarding the following matter
A person named Zensaku from Wago village, Shimo-Ina district, under the jurisdiction of Lord Ikeda Iwanosuke,
has until now worked as a water official and carpenter under the guarantee of Kichizaemon of Seri town. However, since Kichizaemon has requested to be released from his guarantee, I would now like to
provide the guarantee myself and have him continue as a water official and carpenter. Therefore, I submit this petition.
