恐れながら口上書をもってお願い申し上げます
私はこの度当年より振売商売をいたしたく存じます。これについて
お願い申し上げます。
右の趣旨について 御慈悲をもってお願い申し上げました通りお
仰せ付けいただけますならば、ありがたき幸せと存じます。以上
清水町

御奉行所様
右の願書は二月五日に清水氏が御取次を差し上げたところ、二十七日に御聞き済みとなり、
来る二十九日に三上仁次兵衛様へ札をお渡しするので受け取るようにとの御沙汰により、
二十八日に町代へ申し渡しました。

右は当辰年の御役料米として下されたもので、川下郷より

The above petition was submitted through Mr. Shimizu's intermediation on the 5th day of the second month, and approval was granted on the 27th.
An official notice stated that the license would be handed over to Mr. Mikami Jinjibei on the 29th and should be collected,
so this was conveyed to the town representative on the 28th.

The above was given as official duty rice for this dragon year, and
was distributed from Kawashimo-go using the tax rice from the rabbit year. We have certainly received it.
