右書付を差し上げたところ、十月二十一日に後藤新右衛門殿から新酒一本の代金を百二十文とお決めいただき、明日二十二日より売り出すよう指示を頂戴し、当辰年の代治を呼んで申し渡しました。
恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げる事
加役御下役
伊藤唯作殿の娘とめと内縁関係もございますので
もらい受けて私の妻にしたく内談いたしました。これによりお願い申し上げます。
右の趣旨について御慈悲をもってお願い申し上げます通りお仰せ付けを
いただけましたならば、ありがたい仕合せと存じます。以上

Regarding the above petition submitted, on the 21st day of the 10th month, Mr. Goto Shinuemon set the price of new sake at 120 mon per bottle, and instructed that sales may commence from tomorrow, the 22nd day. This was conveyed to Daiji of this Dragon year.
