是迄勢利町吉左衛門御請合仕御水役相勤木挽職為仕

右願書二十八日御城にて井口氏御取次にて差し上げ候ところ、十二月御聞き済みこれあり候。
恐れながら口上書をもって願い上げ奉り候事
池田岩之丞様御支配所下伊那郡和合村善作と申す者、
これまで勢利町吉左衛門御請け合い仕り御水役相勤め木挽き職為し仕り
候ところ、吉左衛門義御請け合い御赦免願い上げ奉り候につき、なおまた私が
御請け合い仕り御水役相勤め木挽き職並びに杣職為し仕りたく存じ奉り候。これにより願い上げ奉り候。

右の趣旨、御慈悲をもって願い上げ奉り候通り仰せ付けられ下し置かれ候
えば有り難き仕合わせと存じ奉り候。以上 下町 嶋田屋

Regarding Zensaku of Wagai Village, Shimo-Ina District, under the jurisdiction of Lord Ikeda Iwanosuke,
who until now has been working as a sawyer while serving water duties under the guarantee of Kichizaemon of Seri-machi,
since Kichizaemon has petitioned for pardon from his guarantee obligation, I now wish
to provide guarantee for him to serve water duties and work as both a sawyer and a woodcutter. Therefore I submit this petition.
