現代語訳
梅がえの以前の主人である松屋千蔵がこの事を聞いて、大いに喜び、仲人として来る。亀売りの万右衛門もこの場所に来て、亀の太い綱を控え、祝いの言葉を述べる。
梅がえと千秋は願いの通り夫婦となり、これぞ幸いの島台と、王亀の背中で千代を寿いだ。

英語訳
Matsuyasan Senzō, Umegae's former master, heard about this and came with great joy to serve as their go-between. Manemon the turtle seller also came to this place, holding the turtle's thick rope and offering congratulatory words.
Umegae and Senshu became husband and wife as they had wished. This was truly a blessed island platform, and they celebrated their eternal bond on the back of the Dragon King Turtle.
