現代語訳
ある夜、池水稲荷が山内屋孫兵衛の枕元に立って言われた。「隣のもぐさ屋の息子という若者は、源義朝の三男頼朝である。道意と心を合わせて世に出れば、天下一統の後、お前も家が富み栄えるだろう」と改めてお告げになって、窓の障子の穴から飛び去って行かれた。

ああ、寝忘れた。もう何時だか分からない。
【本文】
その頃、伊豆の国には北条四郎時政がその身高い俸禄を領し、家が富み栄えていた。山内屋孫兵衛は奥方の御用を承って、度々広い屋敷へ商売に来ていた。その頃は珍しい草紙だったので、女中以下、端女に至るまで非常に喜んでもてはやしたので、商売は繁盛して喜んでいた。

せきや様、これを御覧になってください。市村の狂言本でございます。
