《割書：二間六畳の正面》《題：八番 大和屋初瀬》
幾夏も参る心は日暮れから、野暮も憂いも己が身の皮
嘘の川の水上は手毎の清水なり。この辺りに通う神の社あり。名物浮気の蒲焼きを売る。手毎の清水、水嵩増りて首まで嵩張れば己が身の川を越ゆる。この所より曲者を出だす。身の川八ヶ月限りに流れる。槍栗の林ありしゃつ。金の淵はこの川下なりという。慎むべし恐るべし。
♪この度は話した上で仕立てさせて、今日初めて下ろしたと歌に謡ったろうなどと、見栄坊を言う奴の正体はみな損料屋で借り物にて、うぬが物と言っては体ばかりなり。
♪主にはその縞がよく似合いなんした。
♪あいつらに出し抜けに行かれちゃあ男が立たねえ。二人が身包み身の皮を越して、今夜の身なりは損料借用のためとで。

There is a forest of spear-chestnuts. The golden abyss is said to be downstream of this river. One must be cautious and fearful.
