現代語訳
《割書：不良見客、嵯峨の新造》《題：九番 梨子新造》
花の下、花無し新造にかけられて、三重ね着物に上がる薄暮れ
名代の渡し場、新造が船を漕ぐ所なり。客の機嫌を取り舵と言えば、座敷の勤めが面舵と答える。折々夜風の吹く時は、酔いに帆を上げて舵取りに狂う。
♪おお、そうそう、新造の子だから、この取り舵知らないで当然。

夜もすがら月を見室と漕ぎ行けば、堀の柏に客は白波
名代の渡しを口八丁で降りれば、送り迎えの井戸なり。朝帰りの名物、猪口舟の柏餅あり。味噌をつけて帰る客は味噌餡の柏餅、寝不足な顔。月は精進で夜を更かしたと見ゆる。
♪こちらの餡菓子も入れました。柳橋まで柏餅にしてお休みなさりませ。
♪柏餅になるのもつらい役だ。

Under the flowers, caught by a flowerless courtesan, ascending in triple-layered kimono at dusk
At the famous ferry crossing, where the courtesan rows the boat. When they say taking the customers' mood as port rudder, the parlor duties respond as starboard rudder. Occasionally when night winds blow, they raise sails in drunkenness and go mad at the helm.
♪Oh yes, yes, being a courtesan's child, naturally she doesn't know this steering.

Rowing all through the night to see the moon in the chamber, customers are white waves on the moat's oak leaves
Getting off the famous ferry with smooth talk, it's the well for sending off and welcoming. The morning return specialty - oak leaf rice cakes from small boats. Customers returning with miso have miso-sweet oak leaf rice cakes, sleepy faces. The moon appears to have stayed up all night in purification.
