別れじゃあ哀れ、抜け客に品々の何事、辻占はさとの生真面目
首つ岳の麓に占いやさん、お神籤という寺有り。月町、日町、台町などという門前地あり。この所を通る人よく賭けて歩き回るゆえに、町人を「賭けり」という。宵のうち、心待ちという町を通る。糠や小糠を売る店多し。
♪私はこの頃、花魁で嘘をつき慣れました。手に豆はできませんが、せんがいっそ、口が豆になりました
♪皆さん、今夜も来るか来ないかと震えていたら、米粒になりました。そのはずでございます、しじゅう杵で搗いたものだから

In parting, how pitiful - to the runaway customer, various things; fortune-telling is the quarter's earnestness
At the foot of Kubitsudake, there is a fortune-teller's place, a temple called "omikuji" (sacred lots). There are temple precincts called Tsuki-machi, Hi-machi, Dai-machi and such. People passing through this place often gamble as they walk around, so the townspeople are called "kakeri" (gamblers). During the evening hours, passing through a district called Kokoromachi (Heart-waiting). There are many shops selling rice bran and fine bran.
