現代語訳
《割書：商毒、大師の客》《題：三十番 播磨屋竹生島》
月も日も流れの里の置き節は、常に客衆を呼ぶ心せよ
首つ岳よりまことの淵へ十里、相惚れの池、逃げ水に回れば追っ手の橋かかりて、どの道引き戻しの里へ帰る。この辺り、合羽晒しという晒しを売る。すべて仁義五常の道を失う魔所なり。よくよく慎むべし。
♪動くじゃあないぞ
♪たとえ一反逃げおおせても、今更切れ地になるものか。丈があろうがあるまいが、合羽晒しは覚悟の前だ
♪そっちは憂き身がたとえ立ち腐れても、こっちの玉川さえ捕まれば良いのだ

From Kubitsudake to the true abyss, ten ri; at the pond of mutual infatuation, circling around the mirage water, the pursuers' bridge spans across, and by any route one returns to the quarter of being drawn back. In this area, they sell a bleached cloth called "kappa-sarashi." This is entirely a demonic place where one loses the way of benevolence, righteousness, and the five constant virtues. One should be very, very cautious.

♪Even if you escape with one tan of cloth, it won't become worthless scraps now. Whether there's length or not, the bleached cloth comes before resolve
