致候段右は病苦を相救

し厚く徘徊致候者も
有之候之趣尤之事ニ候
御領内在々別而辺鄙之
場所は病人等有之候節
売薬之手当を以漸々
急難を救ひ人命を助り
候次第も可有之候付此
未売薬師共来り候者自
他共無覆臓商売可為
致候右ニ付而は薬之義は容
易不相成大切之品柄ニ付偽
物等之薬品を不相用此
上精々遂吟味入念制薬
致候様且は押売等不相成
候趣売薬師ともへ腰札
無之ものよりハ決而薬相調

【右丁】
一 右の通り仰せ出されたことにつき、行司
鉾持町の町代は百右衛門を呼んで渡し、
町へ触れ申した。
【左丁】
他所の売薬師らが先年より
御領分中へやって来て商売
したことについて、これは病気の苦しみを救う
一筋の中には、真心と志が
厚く巡回している者も
いるとのこと、もっともなことである。
御領内の在郷、特に辺鄙な
場所では病人等がいる時
売薬の手当てによって徐々に
急難を救い人命を助ける
こともあるだろうから、この
まま売薬師らが来る者は互いに
隠し事なく商売をするがよい。
これについては薬のことは容易
でない大切な品物なので偽
物等の薬品を用いることなく、この
上はよくよく吟味して念入りに薬を製造
するように、また押し売り等をしない
ように売薬師らへ、腰札
がない者からは決して薬を調合

for business in recent years, this is to relieve suffering from illness.
Among them are those with sincere intentions and
deep devotion who make their rounds,
which is indeed commendable.
In the rural areas within the domain, especially in remote
locations, when there are sick people,
they may gradually relieve urgent hardships
and save lives through medicine treatment.
Therefore, medicine sellers who come should
conduct business openly without concealment.
Regarding this, since medicines are
precious items that cannot be taken lightly, they must not use counterfeit
medicines or similar fake drugs. From now on,
they should examine carefully and prepare medicines
with great care, and should not engage in forced sales.
Medicine sellers should not prepare medicines
for anyone without a waist tag (license).
